Dr. Bruce D. Marzullo has been in private practice in Dutchess County, New York since 1987. He received his dental degree from the Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1982 where he was honored with an award from the American Academy of Oral Medicine for the “highest degree of interest and proficiency” in the field of oral medicine. He spent the summer of his junior year doing volunteer work with a group of dentists, physicians and students in the Dominican Republic. He returned there with his wife and daughter to deliver care to the poor in 2006 and 2007.

Dr. Marzullo completed a 2-year hospital residency at the Northport VA Medical Center in 1984.

In 1987 Dr. Marzullo completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.

Dr. Marzullo earned his board certification from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1989.

He is an active member of

  • the American Dental Association,
  • the New York State Dental Society,
  • the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons,
  • the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and
  • the Dutchess County Dental Society.

He was a member of the executive committee of the Dutchess County Dental Society for several years and was on the staff of Saint Francis and Vassar Brothers Hospitals.

Dr. Marzullo has operating privileges at the Dutchess Ambulatory Surgical Center in Poughkeepsie, New York. He has completed numerous courses in advanced implant surgery and many other areas of the specialty.

In 2008, 2009, and 2010, he was chosen by his peers as one of the Hudson Valley’s finest dentists.
